The contractual terms under which Coursim processes personal data on behalf of schools and districts.
Overview
This DPA supplements the Coursim Master Services Agreement. It governs processing of personal data, including student education records, by Coursim on behalf of the Customer (school or district).
Standards
Our standard DPA aligns with the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) National Data Privacy Agreement v1.0. We are happy to negotiate customer-specific addenda.
Key terms
We process personal data only on documented instructions from Customer; ensure all personnel are subject to confidentiality; implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (see security practices); assist with data subject requests; and delete or return personal data on termination.
Subprocessors
We maintain an up-to-date list of subprocessors and notify Customers of additions or replacements at least 30 days in advance. Customers may object to a proposed subprocessor for reasonable data protection grounds.
